Professional Profile

Dr Manesh Lahori is a distinguished academic leader, renowned prosthodontist, and visionary administrator with over 27 years of extensive experience in dental education, clinical practice, and institutional leadership. Currently serving as the Vice Chancellor of K D University, Mathura since January 2026, he brings a legacy of academic excellence, innovation, and commitment to healthcare education.

Prior to this role, Dr Lahori served as the Director, Principal, and Dean of K D Dental College & Hospital, Mathura (2015–2025), where he played a pivotal role in strengthening academic standards, expanding clinical services, and enhancing institutional reputation. He also served as Professor and Head of the Department of Prosthodontics from 2011 to 2025, contributing significantly to academic development and research.

Dr Lahori completed his BDS from Mangalore University and MDS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences at A.B. Shetty Dental College, Mangalore. His academic journey reflects a strong foundation in dental sciences complemented by continuous professional advancement.

A prominent figure in professional organizations, Dr Lahori has held prestigious positions including President of the Indian Prosthodontic Society (2023–2024) and Immediate Past President (2024–2025). He has also served as Vice President and Executive Committee Member of the same society. He is a Founder Member and Past President of both the Uttar Pradesh Prosthodontic Society and the Academy of Oral Implantology, New Delhi.

His professional excellence is recognized through numerous fellowships, including the International Congress of Oral Implantology, International College of Dentists, Pierre Fauchard Academy, and Indian Society of Oral Implantology. He is also a Diplomate of the Academy of Oral Implantology and ICCDE, and Senate Member and Vice Chairperson of ICCDE.

Dr Lahori has contributed extensively to academic literature and publishing, serving as Editor of Guident India and holding editorial positions in reputed journals such as the Journal of Indian Prosthodontic Society and the International Journal of Oral Implantology and Clinical Research.

Beyond academics, he has been instrumental in community outreach initiatives, including the establishment of satellite centers, organization of dental camps, and implementation of school dental health programs, significantly improving access to oral healthcare in rural areas of Mathura.
